Sunlajt, Schicht i Schicht-Lever

Gazeta Handlowa z 1928 roku donosiła, że powstała Polska Spółka Akcyjna „Sunlajt”, sprzymierzona z koncernem Lever Brothers i że nowa spółka zakupiła teren pod budowę fabryki swoich wyrobów (w Warszawie na Pelcowiźnie, dokładnej lokalizacji nie udało mi się na razie ustalić). Na rynku polskim pojawiły się mydła i płatki mydlane tej spółki (Sunlajt, Rinso, Lux) oraz proszek do czyszczenia Vim. Równolegle wzmacniała swoją pozycję na polskim rynku spółka Schicht, kupując w 1925 roku fabrykę na Szwedzkiej w Warszawie i uruchamiając w 1926 roku fabrykę w Trzebini. Od 1935 roku w Polsce Sunlajt i Schicht funkcjonują już wspólnie w ramach nowej spółki Schicht-Lever  S.A., wytwarzanie produktów Sunlajta przeniesiono (?) na Szwedzką.

Sunlajt, Schicht and Schicht-Lever

Gazeta Handlowa [The Commercial Newspaper] from 1928 informed that Polska Spółka Akcyjna “Sunlajt” [the Polish joint-stock company Sunlajt, ”sunlajt” is an Polish pronunciation of English word “sunlight”],  allied with the Lever Brothers, had come into existence.  The new company purchased the land up to construction of the factory of its products (in Warsaw in Pelcowizna district, the accurate location I didn't manage to find at the moment). Soaps and soap flakes of this company turned up to the Polish market (Sunlajt, Rinso, Lux) together with the Vim scouring powder. Parallelly on the Polish market a Schicht company strengthened its position buying in 1925 factory on Szwedzka Street in Warsaw (also in Pelcowizna) and starting production in the new factory located in Trzebinia (in 1926). From 1935 in Poland Sunlajt and Schicht are functioning together as part of the new company Schicht-Lever S.A. . Production of Sunlajt products were moved (?) to the factory at Szwedzka Street.
